Here we have a very Rare Martin 0-42 from 1924! This guitar plays better than most newer Martin's we've seen come through here. It's in amazing shape for a near 100 year old guitar.
Brazilian Rosewood, Adirondack top, ornate inlay, and scalloped braces.
There are some saw marks on the back from the factory which is pretty awesome. There has been a bridge repair done sometime, (see pics) but it is sturdy and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The finish appears to have been oversprayed but it looks very professional. The action is incredible! The sound is very open and crisp, almost dreadnought sounding without all of the bass. This Martin comes with a hardshell case. Let us know if you have any questions!
Old top-crack repair (professional) with two cleats on inside top.
We have a Martin Warranty tech on site, so please send us any questions you have!
